Colchester Business Enterprise Agency (Colbea) has recently welcomed three high profile business people to the membership of its board.
Malcolm Braithwaite was, until recently, CEO of Exchem Organics, a chemical manufacturer based near Harwich. Dr Braithwaite has 32 years in the chemical industry and has been involved in local business initiatives, the Tendring District Council Local Strategic Plan, and has participated in the East of England Development Agency workshops. January 2007 saw the launch of Dr Braithwaite’s own company, Resonato, which will be advising on proactive reputation management programmes for business.
Don Henshall is Chief Executive of Panther Security Limited, a thriving Colchester based business. As the founder of the business, Mr Henshall understands what it takes to start with nothing and build from the ground up; qualities that will help him identify with the small business entrepreneurs that Colbea seeks to help. Don is a Borough Councillor representing the Lexden Ward.
Tim Bailey is responsible for HSBC’s business banking interests throughout the north Essex area, a role that involves looking after around 1,000 business accounts. Mr Bailey is an active member of the business and local community, and is on the Board of Governors for a local education facility. He brings his financial expertise and business acumen to the board.
