Three tenants of the Colchester Business Centre walked away with top prizes in the recent Colchester Business Awards.
Essex & Suffolk Learning Hub were first in the category of Education and Lifelong Learning; Leisuretime Tours won the hotly competitive Customer Service category and CWS financial services were judged the best new company.
Bob Baggalley, Chief Executive of the Colchester Business Enterprise Agency (Colbea), was thrilled with their success: “Seeing young businesses thrive and get the recognition they deserve makes our job even more worthwhile”, he said. “The units at the Business Centre give our tenants the benefit of a true business incubation service with flexible terms, competitive rental and business advice on hand. These three businesses are examples of the best in their class and we congratulate them.”
The Colchester Business Centre has 34 units and has been running at over 95% capacity for more than two years. Plans are afoot to set up more business centres in the town, a facility that will no doubt be welcomed by many start-up businesses.
