The directors of Colbea give up their valuable time completely free of charge in order to help manage the tactical and strategic aspects of the Business Enterprise Agency. They are drawn from local business life and represent a wide gamut of skills and experience. Together they allow Colbea access to a level of management expertise that is seldom found in any organisation.
Karen is a co-founder of Mosaic Publicity. She began as a reporter on the Braintree and Witham Times, before moving to the Colchester Evening Gazette. In 1991 she joineed BBC Essex before moving to BBC Look East as a TV reporter and presenter. She has a BA (Hons) in Publishing and Computing and is a podcasting expert, having written a mini guide to podcasting for the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. Karen is an experienced media trainer, and was President of North Essex Chamber of Commerce in 1999. She is Vice-Chairman of Communicators in Business (Eastern region).
